EVENT DETAILS
The Decorah Genealogy Association will hold an open house, 2-4 p.m., Saturday, May 20, at its Research Center, 808 River St., Decorah. The center is now home to bound copies of the Decorah-Posten’s Ved Arnen supplements and numerous historic works printed and donated by Decorah’s Anundsen Publishing Company as well as Anundsen family photos. Also new to the research center is a series of portraits taken by Tom Henning, a Decorah commercial photographer in the early 1900s. The public is invited to view these collections and more of the extensive resources at the DGA and partake of light refreshments. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
